Year 2000 Tillamook County Fair

	We visited the Tillamook County Fair in Tillamook around 7:00 in the evening. It was cool but excellent weather for shorts and sweatshirts. The Amusement area was really rocking. This little fella down in the corner I think missed out on his curly fries.
	The food area was full of people getting Tillamook Ice Cream, Hot Dogs, Kettle Corn, etc. Nice clean roomy food areas. Lots of people. We found the best Kettle Corn of all the fairs so far at this fair. Ron VanAusdal of Country Kernel out of Wauna, Washington had the biggest, crunchiest Kettle Corn.
	Very nice large building for all the open competition.
	Sue Trout and Iris Frye spinning fiber into yarn. Sue and Iris were originally from Portland.
	Jessie Maxwell selling her handmade hats.
	The Tillamook County Library sells hundreds of their surplus books at the County Fair. Looks like some of those shelves are going to need to be lightened.
	The 4H dorm building with sleeping rooms for boys and girls.
	A sow with 12 piglets. Swine gain an amazing amount of weight in a very short time. Click here to learn more about swine.
	Two calves 2 and 3 weeks old. We think that's a jersey and a holstein.

	Charlie Daniels band entertaining hundreds of people. Admission to this was free with Fair admission.
