Year 2000 Umatilla County Fair

	The Umatilla County Fair is held in Hermiston. The parking and grounds are very roomy.
	The fair has a large community service food area with groups like the Eagles, Lions having food booths.
	There were lots of misting systems around the fair to keep the air cooler. The day we visited the temperature was in the 80's, so it was very pleasant. Our guess is it can get hotter.
	There was a large outdoor area for music groups performing in the evening.
	Row after row of animal barns.
	Nice sized sheep, goat and swine areas.
	More 4H auction activity.
