There's snow in them thar hills. Our trip to the Lake County Fair in Lakeview started out cold. As we were driving over from Bend just before sunup the temperature dropped to below freezing. These hills just North of Lakeview are part of the Abert Rim. To make matters worse for the fine folks in Lakeview, they received over 1 inch of rain the day before our visit. | |

The 4H Record Book is a summary of everything that a member did in 4-H during the past year. Responsibilities taken on and local, county and state activities participated in are documented and witnessed by parent/guardian and 4H leader. There are hundreds of programs available. | |

The Lake County Fairgrounds has a large outdoor arena for showing cattle. This shows some of the standing water left over from the rain the day before. | |
The rain really dampened the Rodeo arena. However everyone pulled together
and the show went on. Country music sensation, Mark Chestnut performed
Saturday night. |
